Classification (Class Level)
A candidate for a Bachelor degree is classified according to the following schedule of credit hours earned:

0 – 24 |
| Sophomore (SO) |
25 - 58 |
| Junior (JR) |
59 - 91 |
| Senior (SR) |
92 or more |
*In alignment with the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES), First-time Freshmen (FF) is defined as
"Undergraduate students who have no prior postsecondary experience who are enrolled for at least 12 semester credits, at least 12 quarter credits, or at least 24 clock hours in an program leading to a degree or certificate. Full-time undergraduate students who attended college for the first time during a summer session and students who entered with advanced standing (college credits or recognized postsecondary credential earned before graduation from high school) are still considered first-time during the first full term they enroll."
