ENVE 307 Introduction to Occupational/Industrial Hygiene

An introduction to the principles of assessing and controlling exposures to workplace hazards. Topics include occupational disease; exposure to contaminant gases, dusts, radiation, noise, extreme temperatures, and biological agents; ergonomic concerns; regulatory requirements; engineering control; and personal protection equipment. The course includes Laboratory experiences emphasizing techniques and basic principles of topics covered in this field. Additional fees apply.
