PASP 691 Capstone
This culmination course in Physician Assistant program includes the capstone research project, summative evaluation, and verification that each student meets the program competencies required to enter clinical practice and graduate. It is designed to assess the clinical and technical skills, clinical reasoning and problem-solving abilities, interpersonal skills, medical knowledge and professional behaviors needed to be a competent physician assistant. It also provides the physician assistant (PA) student with the opportunity to apply their knowledge of medicine and the tools presented in Research Methods I and II (
PASP 590 and
PASP 591) to produce an evidence-based research Capstone Project.
Prerequisite
Successful completion of the didactic component of the PA program
