THEA 304 Directing II

Building on the concepts, skills, and experiences of THEA 303: Directing I, this course provides laboratory work in selecting, casting, blocking, and directing plays culminating in the direction of a one-act play that will receive two public performances. Focus is given to the further development of script analysis for direction as well as to organizational methods, time management/scheduling practices, rehearsal coaching strategies, discovering the director's voice, and artistic collaboration/ group leadership skills.
