CYBR 210 Human Privacy & Security

Cybersecurity focuses on protecting computers and systems from hacking and theft of data. While there are various tools to help make computers more secure, one of the most common vulnerabilities involves the human element. Criminals manage to infiltrate systems by manipulating or deceiving people to give them access to these systems. This course focuses on understanding human performance, capability, and behavior with respect to securing confidential and personal data. Students will explore security issues from a human-computer interaction perspective as well as a human factors perspective.
