CHEM 331 Physical Chemistry I

Principles of physical chemistry with an emphasis on chemical thermodynamics and reaction kinetics. The laboratory includes experimental and theoretical investigation of properties of chemical systems. Procedures of proper laboratory report writing practiced. Three lectures and one 3-hour laboratory period per week. Additional fees apply.

Complete WRIT 102 or HONR 111; minimum grade C-; MATH 224; PHYS 221 & PHYS 222. CHEM 231 is also recomennded.
