BIOL 245 Environmental Toxicology

The lecture course focuses on answering how and why toxins and pollutants have their effects at the molecular, organism and ecosystem levels. In addition to the basics of toxicology, this course examines environmental toxicology in terms of epidemiology, occupational safety and risk assessment and looks at how decisions are made regarding acceptable levels of environmental pollutants.
