COM 226 AI Tools & Strategy for Communication and Business

This course equips students with practical, hands-on knowledge of artificial intelligence (AI) tools shaping the future of communication and business. Students will explore how generative AI (e.g., content creation), predictive AI (e.g., analytics and forecasting tools), and agentive AI (e.g., automation systems) are transforming how organizations create content, engage audiences, make decisions, and scale operations. Through projects, case studies, and live tool demos, students will learn how to evaluate, apply, and ethically integrate AI technologies for marketing campaigns, storytelling, workflow automation, business strategy, and personal productivity. A biblical worldview will frame ethical discussions around data privacy, creativity, truthfulness, and human dignity in an AI-driven age.
