STM 102 Programming I

Students learn foundational programming concepts—data types, control flow, functions, testing, and debugging—by building small, clear programs. Students practice incremental development, version control basics, and test‑first thinking to strengthen correctness and confidence. Students also learn how to consult AI coding assistants responsibly (e.g., for brainstorming or testing ideas) while maintaining data integrity and verifying all outputs.
