MIN 421 Community Ministry
This course will introduce students to best practices in community development. Grounded in a biblical and gospel-centered theology of holistic mission, students will explore how Christians can respond faithfully to the spiritual, social, and material needs of communities. Special attention will be given to the dynamics of poverty and its impact on children, youth, and families. Through engagement with a variety of non-profit ministries, students will reflect on best practices in action. (3 credits)
