COM 252 Graphic Design II
Graphic Design II is an advanced course designed to build upon the principles and skills learned in Intro to Graphic Design. In this course, students will delve deeper into the complexities of design theory, sophisticated use of typography, advanced color theory, and dynamic composition. Emphasis will be placed on the practical application of design principles in real-world scenarios, including adherence to brand guidelines, creating cohesive multimedia design campaigns, and developing graphic reels and explainer videos. Students will explore advanced digital tools and software, fostering an environment of technical skill advancement and innovative design thinking. Projects will simulate professional design challenges, encouraging strategic thinking, effective communication, and the integration of faith and ethics in design work. Through collaborative projects and individual assignments, students will refine their ability to conceptualize, develop, and present advanced design solutions that effectively communicate within various contexts.
