COM 450 Internship
This course provides a pre-professional internship experience designed to apply academic theory to professional practice. Students will secure a placement where they will actively apply and refine their abilities. This hands-on opportunity is designed to enhance practical skills, deepen understanding of a specific industry sector, and cultivate a professional network vital for career success. Throughout the internship, students will work under a qualified professional (onsite supervisor) and the internship professor, to ensure a structured and professional experience. Prerequisite: COM 110 or permission of instructor. 3 credits.
