SOC 332 Media and Crime
This course will explore the relationship between�the mass media and the criminal justice system. �Students will study this relationship from both a�practical and theoretical perspective. The mass�media is very influential in shaping our�"reality" of the criminal justice system,�specifically our images of offenders and victims�as well as our image of the criminal justice�process. This course will allow students the�opportunity to explore the relationship through�the completion of an integrated service project�relevant to the course material.
