NUR 204 Foundations of Pharmacology
Concepts related to pharmacotherapeutics,pharmacokinetics, and pharmocodynamics arediscussed as a basis for medicationadministrationand evaluation of client response. Emphasis isplaced on federal regulations, legalimplications,and safe administration of medicationadministration. Nursing implications and nursingresponsibilities related to administration ofmedications for pain relief, antiobiotic therapy,and diabetes mellitus management will bediscussedwithin the framework of the nursing process.
