COMP 5225 Data communicatios networks
Evaluation of the fundamentals of data network communication, including architecture, principles of operations, and performance analysis. Evaluation of current network structures as facilitators in understanding problems and designing future networks. Emphasis on understanding the algorithms used in networks and their impact on performance. Includes probability, multilayer network architecture, data link layer protocols, high-speed packet switching, queuing theory, and LAN and WAN design issues.
