COIS 6980 Project Development in Open Information Systems
Design and development of an open information system in a client/server architecture. Establishment of the data Prerequisites of an organization. Creation of a relational database using advanced designed tools. Installation of a database allowing for access of different types of users (different privileges and accounts). The system must show that it observes the rules of data integrity, concurrence, management, tuning and maintenance. A formal public presentation of the system, with prior authorization of the project professor and the Coordinator of the Program is required. Students will register in this course as many times as necessary until finishing their project. Grade: P/NP.
