PRAG 1110 Operation and management of greenhouses
Introduction to the use of greenhouses in precision agriculture. Demonstration of the principles of greenhouse operation and management, description of different types of greenhouses, their design, construction, and function. Includes overview of irrigation systems and selection of the appropriate irrigation system. Application of technical learning of selection, design, and construction of cultivation greenhouses. Emphasis on qualitative and quantitative knowledge of greenhouse operation and management. Requires 45 laboratory hours.
