Analysis of the origin and development of the philosophy of quality and organizational excellence with an emphasis on leadership, customer satisfaction, the formation of improvement teams and statistical tools to control the variation of quality processes. Review of regulations applicable to the development of metrics and evaluation of productivity and effectiveness.
