MISS 6300 Christian Mission and the Contemporary, Church
An examination of the cultural context for missionary activity today,especially as the Christian mission centers in and moves out from the local church. Topics will include postmodernity and its characteristics, as well as contemporary models of the church. Emphasis will be placed upon Western missiology, ecclesiology, and methodology, especially as presented by representative authors from North America, Great Britain, and Australia.
