EDU 410 Introduction to Curriculum Integration and Assessment

This course will focus on understanding the various models of curriculum integration and their implementation through interdisciplinary instructional planning. Topics will include understanding the relationship between content and various disciplines and the use of multiple indicators, including formative and summative assessment, to evaluate student progress and growth as they strive to eliminate achievement gaps. An iPad is required for this course. Three hours Clinical Experience required. Clinical Experience placement requests will be communicated by the Director of Clinical Experiences. Candidates must request a placement by the deadline and complete the experience in the assigned placement. Transportation to and from placement is the responsibility of the candidate.
