EMT 200 Intro To Paramedic Technology

An introductory course that prepares the student for the role of paramedic. The topics covered include an overview of the emergency medical services (EMS) system, roles and responsibilities of the paramedic, wellbeing of the paramedic, ambulance operations and national and local issues which impact EMS. In addition, this course provides the student with the theory and skills necessary to provide basic care in the prehospital environment.
