CYBS 645 Leadership and Management
This course explores leading a cybersecurity program from the perspective of a Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), CIO, CTO, and senior or middle-management leader. Students will examine cybersecurity goals, tools, and strategies, and how cybersecurity leadership affects strategy. Topics to be included: organizational structure and reporting models,
leveraging
incidents, security control frameworks, risk management, data protection and privacy, policies, and procedures, and interacting with the Board of Directors.
