Professional Writing Certificate

Course Requirements

To earn a Professional Writing Certificate, students must take 9 hours from the following list:

 

ART 314	Introduction to Graphic Design	2
	AND
ART 314L	Introduction to Graphic Design Lab	1
ENG 276	Creative Writing Workshop	3
ENG 300	Topics in Rhetorical Theory	3
ENG 301	Topics in Cultural Rhetorics	3
ENG 303	Topics in Media and Rhetoric	3
ENG 304	Topics in Communication and Rhetoric	3
ENG 338	Public Humanities	3
ENG 373	Advanced Composition	3
ENG 375	Topics in Technical Writing	3

And students must take one of the following courses:

ENG 371	Professional Communications	3
ENG 470	Advanced Professional Communications for ECC Majors	3
Total Credit Hours:		12

At least three of these courses must be taken at CBU.
