RS 220 Martyrs, Monks, and Mystics
This course examines the development of Christian history, practice, and theology from the time of the early churches through the medieval and reformation periods. Special attention is paid to how Christian thought develops through interpretation of the biblical tradition and different forms of Christian life that imitate Christ, as well as to the expression and experience of Christianity through art, architecture, music, and religious practices.
