EDUC 304 The Effective and Reflective Practitioner
Candidates will extend their knowledge of effective teaching practices by learning the critical components of assessment and feedback, classroom strategy instruction including high yield strategies such as using similarities and differences, summarizing and note-taking, nonlinguistic representations and advance organizers. As in EDUC 303, candidates will practice these techniques using current curriculum materials,video-taped assessments, and edTPA rubrics as a benchmark for successful implementation. There will be an increased expectation of providing differentiated planning, instruction, and assessment.
