RS 355 Judaism
Introduction to the history, religion, literature, and practices of rabbinic Judaism. This course will examine how the cultures of the diaspora, as well as being Christianity's constant "other," led to the institutions and rituals of modern Jewish experience. The course will also examine issues such as Jewish identity after the Holocaust, and the modern state of Israel.
