HNUR 2183 IV Therapy for PN

The role of the practical nurse, legal implications of intravenous (IV) therapy, and equipment/devices used, anatomy/physiology, methods and techniques, infection control measures, complications, and other vital information related to intravenous therapy is discussed. Assigned course prep hours includes, but not limited to, assigned reading and research, written assignments, skills practice, nursing care plans/concepts maps, drug cards, ATI tutorials and modules.
