Elementary Education, B.A.

The major in elementary education prepares candidates to teach kindergarten through sixth grade in public, private and international schools. The programs combines a strong content knowledge focus with choices for content minors or concentrations. Varied and multiple field experiences give candidates the practical experience needed to be effective teachers. An emphasis is placed upon meeting the needs of all students in today’s highly diverse classrooms
