EDUC 540 Introduction to Linguistics

This course is suitable for the graduate students who need to quickly familiarize themselves with the fundamentals of linguistics. The course introduces the basic tools of grammatical analysis (of sounds, words, sentences and meanings) to those who have no or little background in formal linguistics, focusing on phonetics, phonology, morphology, syntax and semantics.
