MBW-110 Therapeutic Massage I

Concentration on Swedish Massage; safe massage practices; body mechanics; and physiological effects of massage taught through lectures, demonstrations, and hands-on lab experience. Basic medical terminology will be introduced. There will be three hours of lecture and nine hours of supervised hands-on practical experience per week. Admission to the Massage Therapy and Bodywork program required.
