OTD-838 OT VISION DISORDERS ACROSS LIFESPAN

This course focuses on developing an understanding of visual disorders that can occur across the lifespan, having the potential to interrupt people's ability engage in daily activities and occupations. The concepts of visual integrity, visual efficiency, and visual information processing will be examined. Therapeutic models and methods for assessment and management will be discussed along with the development of occupational therapy interventions for typical visual disorders encountered in both clinical and community settings. Pre-requisites: admission into the OTD program
