HSA-541 QUALITY IMPROVEMENT & EVIDENCE BASED
This course provides a foundation for the implementation of quality management activities in the health care industry. The course examines theory, methods, and assessment tools health care managers and health professionals currently use, creating an environment in which quality can be measured and improved. The relevance of conscientious, explicit, and judicious use of current best evidence in making decisions about the care of individual patients is evaluated during this course. The course introduces the process of performance improvement as continuous and dynamic profess design, data collection, analysis, implementation, and ongoing evaluations.
