SW-674 CLINICAL SW INTERVENTIONS IN BEHAV HLTH

This elective course emphasizes evidence based on interventions with persons experiencing issues affecting behavioral health in a persistent and severe manner. The interdependence of biological, psychological, cultural, social and political perspectives on behavioral health, as well as the role of traumatic experiences, is explored. Promoting strengths and resiliency in individual and family responses to the health challenges are highlighted.
