PHI-220 INTRODUCTION TO PHILOSOPHY

Introduction to Philosophy is designed to introduce the student to the fundamental problems of philosophy for a historical perspective. This course will introduce the students to analysis of concepts such as: moral goodness, moral character metaphysical foundations of knowledge, the nature of knowledge, and the philosophical foundations of social-political concerns, Furthermore, the course will explore the nature of inductive and deductive reason. This course is designed to create a philosophical background and foundation for upper level Philosophy courses. Co-requisite ENG 111
