IT-190 MICROCOMPUTER SYSTEMS

This introductory level course discusses how a computer system works. Emphasis is placed on how to install, configure, and manage personal computer (PC) systems. Students will learn to maintain, troubleshoot, and upgrade microcomputers, and develop hand-on technical skills using current architectures as needed to support PC environments. Prerequisites: CS 180
