HUM-300H DIMENSIONS OF CULTURE II
This course will address the importance of theory in understanding and studying the concept of culture. The course will examine how culture is shaped by major social institutions and how these institutions shape cultural products such as literature, film, and art. The underlying assumption that guides the dominant cultural standards of America will be evaluated. Prerequisite: HUM 199H or permission of the instructor. (Spring)
