READ 6315 Reading in the Content Areas

This course will analyze the role of literacy learning across content areas, including the use of explicit reading process and reading strategy instruction in teaching disciplinary literacy, technology integration, vocabulary development, and research and inquiry skills for multilingual diverse learners. Research in the area of Dyslexia and other literacy-related challenges of marginalized learners will be investigated.
