Counseling is free and confidential.
Problems may arise that interfere with a student’s adjustment, happiness, health and academic performance. Seeking help or advice is not an admission of weakness, but a demonstration of a student’s determination to help themselves’ during a challenging or critical period of adjustment.
Students seek counseling for many reasons including: academic concerns, alcohol abuse, anxiety, depression, drug abuse, eating disorders, grieving, homesickness. identity issues, loneliness, relationship issues, self-injurious behavior, sexual/physical assault, sleep problems, stress, and suicidal thoughts or gestures.
