NUTR 2401 Food and Clinical Pathogens

This is a lecture and lab course that facilitates students to recognize microbes and parasites, especially food pathogens that can cause sever disease related to the digestive system. Students will perform labs to identify the pathogens. They will gain knowledge in clinically relevant pathogens that can cause major diseases. This course will involve three credit hours of lecture and three credit hours of laboratory. The course will be offered to all four tracks in the BS NS program.
