CYBI 3345 Operating Systems and Security

This course is a study of the concepts and practices of secure operating systems including virtual machine security and mobile OS security. Topics covered include protection methods, access control, encryption, authentication, vulnerabilities and countermeasures, and policies and procedures. Case studies of major operating systems related to hardening and securing will also be discussed.
