PAFF 6311 Intergovernmental Relations

This course analyzes the political, administrative, and fiscal relationships among governments in the American political system, the constitutional and theoretical basis for federalism, the national-state-local government relations, and regional arrangements. A comprehensive analysis of intergovernmental management, administration, shared resources, and power across different levels of government is provided. Students are provided with insights into evolving, expected transboundary and challenging issues which may impact intergovernmental relations in the years ahead.
