CIVE 2220 Civil Engineering Measurements

Team-based, experiential-learning course which provides students the opportunity to understand how measurements are essential to civil engineering. Students learn the basic principles of land surveying and develop full engineering reports. The course includes both lectures and hands-on lab sessions conducted mostly outdoors in different areas around campus. The course provides opportunities for the student to learn or practice basic AutoCAD software, which is needed in upper level classes and to qualify for many entry-level positions in civil engineering.
