ECON 3343 Economics of the Government Sector

Economic roles of the government, public sector economic decision making, and the effects of government expenditures and taxation on resource allocation, income distribution and economic growth. Also includes topics such as pollution control, education, deregulation, and income security programs.

Prerequisite

ECON 2301 and ECON 2302. All students pursuing a Bachelor of Business Administration, Bachelor of Arts in Economics, or Bachelor of Science in Materials Management and Logistics from VCoBE, must apply for and be admitted to VCoBE before they are allowed to enroll in the Advanced Business Core and Major coursework for their degree.
