Research and library support for USM students is provided by library staff during all hours the Keleher Learning Commons (KLC) is open and 24/7 through chat support on the KLC's library website. The library collections are designed to serve the research needs of students and faculty by providing access to relevant materials in a variety of formats, including print and electronic books and article and video databases. The library also provides access to subject specific and general research guides and tutorials.
Library staff are available during business hours to check out technology tools such as laptops, video cameras, and podcasting equipment to assist with coursework and projects, as well as facilitate large-scale paper printing projects and 3-D printing assignments for a wide variety of classes. 3-D printer and technology tools allow USM students to participate in experiential project-based learning with real-world applications. These tools are available for use on or off campus.
In addition to academic support, library collections include popular recreational reading titles, board games, and other resources to support the quality of the student experience and lifelong learning.
