BFIN 470 Industry Project
Industry Project (IP) is designed exclusively for working students with minimum of one-year professional work experience. The purpose of this project is to provide a working student an opportunity to demonstrate his/her ability to apply the knowledge and skills gained throughout his/her studies to a topic related to Finance field in a methodical and analytical manner. A student will undertake a supervised project to tackle an existing problem or an available opportunity for improvement at his/her organization, explore possible causes of the problem, suggest alternative solutions, and assess the effect(s) of each solution on the organization. Alternatively, a student may develop and document a case study dealing with an actual problem/opportunity within an organization. Each student will submit a written report and make an oral presentation.
