BBEI 335 Entrepreneurial Finance & Venture Capital
The purpose of this course is to build students skills, frameworks and knowledge in entrepreneurial finance of small & medium-size enterprises. This course assumes that most companies are still at a relatively early stage of maturity, and are not publicly listed on exchanges. The context of venture capital is different than that of traditional corporate finance. The skills and frameworks are therefore, more focused on managing cash flow, and increasing returns and recognizable value. In addition, the course briefly covers types of investment and examines venture capital funding, and how to conduct due diligence.
