EMS 101 EMS Fundamentals
During this course, the student will experience an introduction to the Emergency Medical Services (EMS) field. Topics include the history of EMS, well-being of the EMS provider, illness & injury prevention, Public Health, roles and responsibilities of the EMS provider, research in EMS, diversity in EMS and healthcare, legal considerations, ethics, EMS communications, documentation, and team dynamics.
