Program Description

Cybersecurity and Data Privacy prepares individuals for demanding positions in public and private sectors overseeing, operating, or protecting critical computer systems, information, networks, infrastructures and communications networks. Graduates will be prepared to become leaders in cybersecurity, with a solid understanding of security technology and privacy laws, preparing them to make knowledgeable and responsible decisions. The program also offers students a transfer option to four-year institutions.

Students who graduate with a degree in Cybersecurity & Data Privacy will have an opportunity to seek employment from a broad list of job opportunities throughout the state of North Dakota as well across the U.S. This degree will give you the knowledge and skills to make you applicable for employment in many Information Technology and Cybersecurity fields. Jobs such as Information Security Specialist, Security Management Specialist, Penetration & Vulnerability Tester (Pen-Tester), Cyber Crime Analyst/Investigator, and much more.
