LANG 426 Ojibwe VI
Ojibwe Language VI is the second part of the senior level of language classes and builds off Ojibwe V. All four-verb types (VAI, VII, VTA, VTI) are examined with an emphasis on VTA verbs (verbs that are inanimate and intransitive) and their conjugations, negations, dependent, independent, and command forms. Students will continue to build on and expand their Ojibwe vocabulary and grammar and articulate Ojibwe culture and philosophies through the language. At this level, course instruction will be in Ojibwe and all four skills; speaking, writing, listening, and reading, will be in through the Ojibwe language.
