Program Description
Network Administrator students will gain skills and knowledge, enabling them to diagnose and solve network problems, demonstrate the ability to research technology problems, provide technology support, and to learn new technology tools. Our students will have the ability to help other technology users, develop training and maintenance plans and to translate their technical knowledge so that others can use it. Network Administrator students will be able to manage an organization’s servers and desktop and mobile equipment. They can ensure that email and data storage networks work properly. They also can make sure that employees’ workstations are working efficiently and stay connected to the central computer network.

Institutional Mission Statement
Turtle Mountain Community College is committed to functioning as an autonomous Indian controlled college on the Turtle Mountain Chippewa Reservation focusing on general studies, undergraduate education, Career & Technical Education, scholarly research, and continuous improvement of student learning. By creating an academic environment in which the cultural and social heritage of the Turtle Mountain Band of Chippewa is brought to bear throughout the curriculum, the college establishes an administration, staff, faculty, and student body exerting leadership in the community and providing service to it.
Career Outlook
Graduates of the Network Administrator degree will demonstrate the ability to diagnose and solve network problems, skills to research technology problems, provide technology support, and to learn new technology tools, and the ability to help other technology users, develop training and maintenance plans and to translate their technical knowledge so that others can use it.
Our graduates can work as Computer User Support, Systems Analyst, Network/Systems Administrator, Network/Systems Support, and Computer Network Support Specialists.
